This little blue eyed, Pennsylvanian dish, is 42 today :-) So as is tradition, he gets a birthday top ten.
He first caught my attention and the attention of the female population of the universe in 2009's absolute fucking classic 'The Hangover', but in actual fact, he had been gracing our screens for at least 8 or 9 years previous.
I for one, had no clue, until someone reminded me that he was in 'Wedding Crashers', 'Midnight Meat Train', 'Failure to Launch' etc. All films I'd definitely seen, but it wasnt until 'The Hangover', that I started to pay attention and then we were treated to 3 or 4 more movies from him that same year, including 'He's Just Not That Into You', which is definitely still a 'go to' of mine.
Even then, I still didnt really take him in, if you see what I mean, I didnt marvel at him, I just went through the motions, absolutely loving his films but wondering why he kept getting nominated for Oscars.
Then I saw American Sniper.
I actually felt starved of oxygen at the end of that film, it affected me that much and it was all down to his understated, almost sly, performance as Chris Kyle. When I say sly, I feel like he was purposely tricking us into thinking he was just an average actor all this time and then smacks us in the face with a performance sent by hollywood angels as a little kick up the arse to go back and teach ourselves about the wonder that is Bradley Cooper.

Following my 'American Sniper' revelation, I did go back and watch his previous performances and could see exactly why he was nominated for so many Oscars - the man has a natural, easy, charming and somewhat menacing, talent that makes me want to vomit with joy.
Anyway I'm waffling.............here's his top ten and some more waffling.......
10. He's Just Not That Into You
I adore this as a whole but he is such a shit in this film, I had to keep it low down the list.
9. Case 39
The scene with the hornets - my god!
8. American Hustle
I'm in love with his film for his barnet alone. And Jennifer Lawrence screaming about '...the fuckin science oven'
7. Wedding Crashers
Again - he's a total shit in this but I love it, because its still painfully hilarious 12 years later.
6. Burnt
Massively underrated film - its on Sky, go and watch it!
5. The Place Beyond The Pines
I dont even know where to start with this film. There is so much I am in love with, we'd be here all day.
4. Guardians of The Galaxy
NO ONE would make a better Rocket Raccoon .
3. American Sniper
*Insert picture of my face looking overwhelmed*
2. Silver Linings Playbook
I'm still annoyed that Jennifer Lawrence got her Oscar and he didn't. Their performances were equally mesmerising.
1. The Hangover
I totally believe that our lives and indeed the world, is a better place because of this film.
I would have added War Dogs in here, if he was in it for more than 5 minutes.
